Undergrad school/major: International Studies and in Recreation (Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management) 

Grad school/program: Through Erasmus Mundus, an EU program, Megan is pursuing a Joint Masters of Law (LLM) in International Law and Global Security, Peace and Development at Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic; University Clermont Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand, France; and University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy

Area of focus: Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention

Goal:  Eventually, she wants to work in an organization where she can help communities, governments and organizations create sustainable growth plans and policies that that balance economic considerations with the environment. 

Host club: Rotary Club of Olomouc City, Czech Republic. 

More about Megan:  Megan has more than seven years of experience in Rotary.  

In high school she was a Rotary Youth Exchange student in Taiwan and, in college, she was a co-founder and President of the IU-Bloomington Rotaract Club. She also has embraced RYLA (as a participant and as a volunteer leader), positive peace and DEI.
